As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you lead the charge in architecting our next generation CRM landscape and take responsibility of our large-scale Sales Cloud implementation with over 15,000 users across 60+ countries. Global IT within Hilti is a truly global team with main hubs in St.Gallen (Buchs) (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Petaling Jaya)(Malaysia), Paris (France), and Plano/Tulsa (USA). Hilti’s Gloabl IT team is not a normal corporate IT department. It is seen as the backbone for company’s strategic success and know for their focus on unique value creation by translating latest IT innovation into sustainable value creating solutions & services. What does the role involve? As a Technical Architect, you will define architecture principles, apply architecture patterns, and drive their implementation together with other architects. It is your job to find the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility, long-term sustainability, agile delivery, and cost-effective end-to-end implementation. You will be working in the Sales Cloud Platform team in Project Evolution. In this role you are the key contributor, decision maker, and subject matter expert for all architecture related matters in the Sales Cloud Platform. You take accountability for IT architecture standards, best practice implementation, and architecture related risks. Together with your colleagues, you drive IT agility by identifying balanced solution architectures that are frameworks for change.

In addition, you are a standing member of the Architecture Guild, as well as the Architecture Forum of Hilti, where you partner with your peers to evaluate the full-stack architecture of relevant applications and alternatives to ensure sustainability, operational excellence, reliability, and alignment with our Global IT strategy. Interesting facts about Project Evolution: We evolve both our CRM system and how we do business with our customers via a strong focus on an opportunity-oriented sales approach. The global team is staffed by over 150 internal and external team members across multiple countries like Switzerland, America, France, Malaysia, and the UK. We have a multi-scrum setup of 13 teams running in full-agile mode covering topics such as product development, platform governance, and global rollouts. Scrum teams are staffed with product owners, software engineers, solution architects, business analysts, and QAs. They come from both IT and Business teams, creating a seamless and synergistic team dynamic – there is no “you business - me IT”, but instead a strong collaborative environment where both sides learn from each other. Success at Hilti is down to teamwork and ability, no matter what your background is. What you need is:

• You have at least a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant education. PhD is a plus.


• You are conceptually and analytically skilled, with hands-on software development experience


• You have working experience with software design/enterprise architecture patterns (particularly cloud native applications, cloud integration patterns and microservices)


• Your knowledge portfolio is equipped with a proven track record of implementing Salesforce (Marketing and/or Sales Cloud)


• You really enjoy communicating fluently in English and working in a global team


• You seek to grow in your role as an Architect
