Takeda’s Neuchatel Supply Chain team is looking for a highly motivated


Materials Management Coordinator


-Fixed term contract until March 2022-


As Materials Management Coordinator within the Supply Chain Department you will be responsible for supporting operational activities and maintain delivery planning updated. You will have the opportunity to explore the all the steps of the raw material flow, from receiving to release in production. The role is expected to have a solid understanding of ERP system and pharmaceutical exigences knowledge.


Your mission


You will report directly to the Material Management Lead and be responsible for supporting operational activities leading to clean and updated delivery planning.


The role responsibility covers raw material flow from ordering to release in production, in collaboration with local partner such as Warehouse, Purchasing, Laboratory, Quality, Finance.


Depending of your skills and adaptability, this role may also support other supply chain operational activities or continuous improvement.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Order management support (Creation in ERP system, Acknowledgment & on time delivery follow up)


  • Support Warehouse receiving activities (Claim missing documentation, track and follow receiving issues…)


  • Supply Chain alert reports analysis (Item below safety stock, past due order…)


  • Suppliers Open order report review (Regular meeting with local and international suppliers to discuss and align on open orders).


  • Support “Hot Topics” management (providing visibility on stock out date, exploring mitigation actions with suppliers and other plants from the Takeda worldwide network)


  • Invoice reconciliation tasks



Required Skills



  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Supply Chain or CFC with solid experience


  • 1 to 3 years of experiences in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is an asset but not a must


  • French and English level B2 or higher are a must


  • Dynamic and determined personality with a strong team spirit.


  • Strong adaptability to perform in a volatile work environment


  • Methodical and rigorous in work with an ability to work on several topics


  • Knowledge and use of usual IT tools (Excel in particular)
