For Catalytic Process Engineering Group within the Bioenergy and Catalysis Laboratory we are looking for aScientific Assistant / Laboratory TechnicianYour tasks
Perform data acquisition using UPLC-HRMS, GC-HRMS instruments on bio-energy samples, daily instrument maintenance (e.g. calibration) and sample preparations and develop methods
Report the analytical results in a clean and concise manner
Responsible for the supply of laboratory consumables
Occasionally you work in shift opertion (up to 20% of the working hours)
Your profileYou hold a university/ETHZ or university of applied science degree focusing on analytics of small organic molecules by mass spectrometry (e.g. metabolomics, environmental science, drug development). Alternatively, you are a laboratory technician with many years experience in HRMS. You have hands-on experience with standard sample preparation methods.
