Overview / Responsibilities


Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.


 


Responsibilities 



  • Set up, plan, lead, manage and conduct (cross functional) projects within the assigned resources, costs, and completion dates across all relevant project phases

  • Lead the project execution in compliance with company procedures and best practices, with accountability on project objectives

  • Utilize project management methodologies, systems and tools as defined by the company

  • Issue periodic project reports, internally and to client, as per company policies / procedures and applicable project execution plan

  • Be accountable for quality, cost, and schedule project targets both internally and vs the client

  • An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations

  • Support proposal activities

  • Support Business Development activities


Skills / Qualifications



  • MSc degree in mechanical, chemical or process engineering

  • experience in Project Management with TIC of 50 Mio. Euro

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the role, 10 years’ experience in mid - size / large engineering companies

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology sector is mandatory (GMP environment)

  • Successful experience in people management in cross functional teams

  • Proven project management experience with capability of working independently on multiple projects, and ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines

  • Excellent organization skills and ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, matrix organization where the workload requires balancing multiple responsibilities simultaneously

  • Ability to deal with other disciplines

  • Familiar with project management tools

  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company

  • Effective analytical and problem - solving skills

  • Fluent in German and in English

  • Eligible to work in Switzerland
