Job Description

• As a Utilities Operation Supervisor/ Power Plant Maintenance Operation Supervisor you coordinate daily activities of the Utilities team including resource planning and capacity, equipment availability, scheduling of shutdowns with system leads, event reporting, escalation of issues and equipment monitoring.  


• You will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department including the process systems we utilize


• You ensure 24/7 the continuation of operations of the site's utilities (black, clean and HVAC) and you are the first actor on improving the systems reliability 


• You are responsible for the documentation following GDP and GMP standards and Biogen policies. 


• You build strong relations with the quality and manufacturing departments


• You define and follow up on KPI's to track the systems operations and in addition provide reports about the utilities operations to meet the SLA's (service level agreements).


• You will create and improve SOP's, checklists and work instructions that are operations related


• You are the SPOC in events investigations and inspections 

Qualifications

• knowledge of GMP/GDP


• People management experience


• A solid experience in maintenance operations of industrial systems in a pharma/biotech plant


• Fluent in English and strongly recommended good German conversation skills 


• preferable an experience in driving processes, projects, continuous improvement 

Additional Information

As a Utilities Operation Supervisor/Power Plant Maintenance Operation Supervisor you are responsible for the 24/7 continuation of operations on site. You will work across departments and lead a large team of Utilities Operators. 

You will report to the Head of Maintenance.
