Description
DescriptionAs an engineer on our team, you will be a key member, responsible for real-time systems that efficiently process an extensive stream of GPS data and third-party information. We build scalable production systems that provide accurate information to Apple customers with minimal latency, and therefor you will enjoy the opportunity to build substantial contributions to the design, architecture, and implementation or our solutions. This is a timely opportunity to work on exciting and thought-provoking problems. If you are self-motivated and driven by data, and you have experience scaling systems to several thousands of events per second, this role may be the one for you! The qualified candidate will also speak Java, Scala, and/or C++ (sometimes even on a whiteboard), and will possess the ability to influence and improve systems at scale.

Education & ExperienceBSc or MSc or PhD in Computer Science or related field will be considered.

We support a production system and as such, support outside of standard business hours may occasionally be required to assist with various team and system needs such as pager-support for periodic 24/7 on-call duties, video calls, or other project requirements.
