Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd in Geneva is looking for a candidate to fulfil the following mission statement:


Tax Operations Project Manager (12 Months)


YOUR MISSION:


As part of Lombard Odier Technology and Operations, you will be working with the Operations Tax Team to deliver a risk reduction roadmap. Reporting to the Operations Business Management function, you will help to manage the project Steerco, drive closure of open points, and assist in the design and documentation of new controls where relevant. In close collaboration with the Risk and Technology Teams you will also help to ensure that there is a risk based approach to the prioritisation of system developments related to the roadmap. In addition, you will be responsible for regular reporting to the Head of Operations and the Technology and Operations Executive Committee.


KEY RESPONSABILITIES:



  • Governance : support the management of the project steerco with production of the support materials, follow up on actions and escalation of any issues impacting the delivery of the roadmap;

  • Process / Control design : working with the Operational Tax teams, help to design and document new controls that will be required to ensure improved control around Operational Taxes;

  • Develop business cases for Technology changes to clearly show the benefits of introducing changes to the applications from both a risk reduction and increased capacity capabilities;

  • Design weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to ensure that Senior Management are kept up to date in respect of the progress of the project.


YOUR PROFILE:



  • Bachelor/Master degree in Finance / Economics;



  • > 5 years of professional experience in Tax Operations, ideally with a focus on  projects;

  • Experience in business analysis in a tax environment is a key requirement for the role;

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle;

  • Change management certification or designation a plus;

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with different groups of people;

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal;

  • Forward looking with a holistic approach, team player attitude, flexibility and resilience;

  • Perfect mastery of French / English, other language a plus;

  • Residence in Switzerland a must.
