Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

Design, development, and validation of solutions for the pharmaceutical, industrial, clinical and applied markets, especially focusing on (micro)flow and speciality packaging formats (e.g. syringes, micro blood spots …). Managing and coordinating the integration of systems, components, services, software, procedures (SOPs, qualification, documentation) and consumables that will proactively aid to enhance the value chain, according to the strategy plan.

 

This will involve:

• Participation in the design of the solutions and methods, their value proposition and business model, in close cooperation with market management. Responsible to execute the planned development road map timely and with quality.


• Apply agile development methodologies as well as lean team collaboration principles, ensuring market engagement during all development steps. Identify and efficiently communicate with internal and external stakeholder.


• Actively participate in the beta-testing and validation of software components.


• Work in close partnership with market management and the group marketing business partner/s to enable successful go to market and launch of new products, solutions, and methods.


• Timely and efficiently transfer the new solutions to the different departments by generating the necessary material and delivering training to the applications, sales, and service organization.


• Attend conferences, meetings and events focusing on lead generation, gathering market insights, and building long lasting relationship with existing key customers, collaborators, and providers. Maintain awareness of existing technology to make educated develop-vs-buy decisions.


• Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction through formal and informal channels and provide appropriate responses and services improvements. Maintain awareness of changing customer expectations.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in chemical engineering, or closely related disciplines.


• Deep knowledge of (micro)flow, flow chemistry, flow NMR or close disciplines is required and proven track record on applications of flow to solve real problems.


• Knowledge of robotics is desirable.


• Knowledge of PAT, process chemistry, engineering and/or QbD is also desirable.


• Basic knowledge of NMR is desirable.


• Minimum 6-8 years’ experience designing or supporting flow applications or closely related role, in an industrial environment or equivalent (e.g. PhD).


• Scientific leadership with excellent communication skills. A demonstrable self-starter and highly motivated professional. Autonomy, ability to work unsupervised.


• Proven success in working in a global, multi –cultural organization. Is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives on new challenges.


• Ability to solve complex issues, even in ambiguous situations.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Team player with excellent teaching skills.


• Open, constructive, and direct communication.


• Result and goal-oriented attitude.


• Networks with key contacts and opinion leaders not only from the NMR community but also from outside own area of expertise.
