MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN: Alaïa sucht einen Digital Wizard zur Verstärkung des Teams

ALAÏA AG ist mehr als nur ein Unternehmen, das Action Sports Zentren entwickelt und betreibt. Actionsportarten wie Skateboarden, Freeskiing, Snowboarden, Surfen, BMX und Mountainbiken liegen in unserer DNA – wir leben für den Actionsport. Wie du sicherlich schon gelesen hast, kreiert ALAÏA ein neues Ökosystem des Actionsports mit der Vision, die gemeinsame Leidenschaft für den Tribe zu teilen. Zu unseren Werten gehören Freiheit, Kreativität, Exzellenz, Spass, aussergewöhnliche Leistungen und Weiterentwicklung.

Alaïa Creative ist unser Marketing/Coms Team, das für die gesamte Alaïa Group arbeitet. Das Team besteht aus 7-8-9 Teamkollegen. Unser multidisziplinäres Team kümmert sich um die gesamte Kommunikation, sowie die Erstellung von Print und digitalen Inhalten für die verschiedenen Geschäftsbereiche. Du wirst Teil eines vielseitigen und flexiblen Teams, bei dem du sehr viel bewirken kannst. Bei uns wird vor und nach der Arbeit gesurft und geskatet – egal wann, solange die Arbeit erledigt wird, auch wenn es noch spät in der Nacht ist. Wir suchen eine Person, die den Actionsport versteht und lebt, die es liebt Dinge selbst in die Hand zu nehmen, sich mit Computer, Technik und Quellencodes auskennt. Jemand, der schnell und sauber arbeitet und alle Plattformen kontinuierlich optimiert. Einen digitalen Wizard, der detailversessen ist und es nicht leiden kann, wenn zwei Pixel nicht haargenau aufeinander ausgerichtet sind.

Verantwortlichkeiten und Aufgaben

Webentwicklung & Integration – hauptsächlich WordPress, css, js, html und SaaS-Integrationen auf mehreren eigenen Websites oder SaaS-Systemen, in Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch. Texte mit einzigartigen Bildern, unglaublichen Videos die du jeden Tag findest. Verbesserung und Optimierung unseres E-Commerce. Und klar, den globalen digitalen Support für die Gruppe sowie Reporting, Monitoring, Kontrolle – und Q&A.

Über dich

• Du hast einen Abschluss, idealerweise mit Ausrichtung auf die digitale/grafische Welt, wie z.B. einen Abschluss als Mediamatiker oder Fachhochschule Informatiker. Du hast mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Erstellung und Betreuung von Websites. Und du liebst es!


• Du schaust dir Websites oft über die “View Source” Option an (dein alter Chatname war bestimmt Neo)


• Du liebst es, wenn eine Website nahtlos auf allen Geräten der Welt geladen wird und du hasst es, wenn dein Frontend nicht so sauber ist wie das vom Designer erstellte Mock-up (es ist fast schon zwanghaft)


• Du bearbeitest Support-Tickets und Änderungsanfragen so schnell, wie du deine Red Bulls an einem heissen Surftag trinkst


• Du bist ein Meister im schnellen und qualitativ hochwertigen Ändern von Inhalten. Du bist süchtig nach css, css2, css3, js, jquery, asychjs, html, dhtml, xhtml, zhtml oder welches html noch erfunden werden muss


• Du lachst auch unter Druck und magst es nicht, das Büro zu verlassen, ohne die dringende Änderung noch in letzter Minute abzuschliessen


• Du hast ein transversales, tiefes und profundes Verständnis für das Internet, Digitales, SaaS, Social Media. Im Grunde genommen kennst du alles, was Bytes hat und sich über TCP/IP bewegt


• Du liebst es, selbstständig und autonom zu arbeiten, kannst aber genauso gut im Team arbeiten. Du bist bereit das «One-Man-Army» Schild an deine Tür zu hängen


• Du hast ausgezeichnete mündliche und schriftliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Französisch und/oder Englisch und/oder Deutsch. Und wenn du noch fliessend Schweizerdeutsch sprichst und schreibst, werden dich unsere Praktikanten lieben!


• Du hast ein Faible für Actionsports, sei es Klettern, Skifahren, Bergsteigen, Skaten, Surfen, Kiten, Gleitschirmfliegen, BMX, Inlineskaten usw.

Wichtig! Das sind Dinge, die du sofort erledigen könntest:

• CSS und responsive Website-Front-End-Cross-Browser-Checks kannst du im Schlaf


• Uns erklären, was deiner Meinung nach die besten JS-Bibliotheken sind und warum


• Unseren Praktikanten alles über Akronyme wie SQL, HTML, PHP und SSL erklären


• Du kannst uns mindestens 3 oder 4 Möglichkeiten nennen, eine alte Domain auf eine neue zu 301en


• Du weisst genau, warum Keyword-Dichte, Backlinks, Verweise, PR & Ankertexte wichtig sind


• Du beherrschst manuelles Installieren, Back-ups, Archivieren oder Löschen von WordPress und seinen Themes, Plugins und Inhalten


• Du erkennst den Wert eines EV-Zertifikats gegen letsencrypt in weniger als 17 Sekunden


• Du kennst die Bedeutung von DPI und weisst über die besten Bildkompressionsalgorithmen Bescheid – all das erledigst du während du deine besten Anekdoten erzählst


• Entschlüsseln, was ein CDN ist, seine Logik und gleichzeitig aufzählen welche verschiedenen Anbieter es gibt und deren Kosten und Vorteile

ALAÏA SA is more than just a company that develops and operates centers dedicated to the practice of action sports such as skateboarding, freeskiing, snowboarding, surfing, BMX, and mountain biking : you certainly have heard about it in the news or social media : ALAÏA is inventing an ecosystem ofhigh value experiential projects with a strong vision, proposing to guests to join a tribe that shares passionsand values: freedom, creativity, excellence, nature, fun or progression.

ALAÏA CREATIVE is the name given to our Marketing/Coms team. With about 7-8-9 dedicated colleagues, you will be making magic happen for ALAÏA GROUP by being part of the ALAÏA CREATIVE team. This multidisciplinary team handles all the communication, print and digital content creation for the different business units. You would be joining a versatile, flexible team, passionate about actions sports, ambitious and dedicated. A team that likes to go surfing or skateboarding before or after work, and sometimes during work – even if it is to finish the required tasks a little later in the day or night. In a nutshell, we are looking for a person who understands the culture of action sports, who loves to get things done, on his computer, fingers in the source code, connected to online plateformes, delivering swiftly clean and tested work… a Digital Wizard that is attached to details and hates when two pixels are not aligned correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Webdevelopment & integration – mostly wordpress, css, js, html and saas integrations on multiple owned websites or SaaS systems – in french, english and german for the text, with awesome images that need perfect optimisation and videos to go with them. And of course lots of work on our E-commerce improvement and optimisation. Providing global digital support for the group as well as reporting, monitoring, checking – and q&a.

ABOUT YOU

You have a degree, ideally oriented in the Digital/Graphic world such as CFC of Mediamatician or HES Informaticien de Gestion. You have at least 3 years experience working full-time on websites. And you love it.

You look at websites through the view source option (at some point you considered Neo as your screen name).

You absolutely love when a website loads seamlessly on all devices on the planet, and you absolutely hate when your frontend isn’t as clean as the designer’s mockup (it’s nearly compulsive).

You close support tickets and requests for modifications as fast as you drink your Red Bull on a hot surfing day.

You are a master in speedy and quality content changes. You’re addicted to css, css2, css3, js, jquery, asychjs, html, dhtml, xhtml, zhtml or whatever html is still to be invented.

You like to laugh even under pressure and hate to leave the office without completing that dreaded last minute change.

You have a transversal, deep and profound understanding for the the internet, digital, SaaS, social media. Well. Basically anything that has bytes and moves through TCP/IP.

You love working alone as much as you have the ability to work in a team. You’re ready to hang that ‘’one man army’’ sign on your door.

You have excellent oral and written communication skills in French and/or English and/or German. And if you speak and write fluent Swiss-German, our interns will love you ;

You have an Action Sports culture, be it climbing skiing mountaineering skating surfing kiting paragliding bmx inline etc..

Important ! Examples of things you need to be immediately capable of answering/doing…

• Sorting out CSS and responsive website front-end cross-browser checks in your sleep ;


• Explaining what in your opinion the best JS libraries are and why ;


• Telling our interns all about acronyms such as SQL to HTML to PHP and SSL, and explaining what they do ;


• Being able give us at least 3 or 4 options to 301 an old domain to a new one ;


• Knowing exactly why keyword density, backlinks, referrals, PR & anchor texts are important ;


• Manually installing, backuping, archiving or dumping wordpress and its themes and plugins and content ;


• Debating the value of an EV cert against letsencrypt in less than 17 seconds;


• Translating clearly the meaning of DPI and arguing the best image compression algorithms – all that while giving us some tips & tricks and anecdotes about your experiences ;


• Deciphering what a CDN is, its logic and giving the name of different suppliers, their costs and advantages ;
