Job Responsibilities


As a Hardware Engineer Intern at Viasat you will be responsible for developing a wide range of diverse hardware for testing and troubleshooting our highly regarded commercial products. You will produce testing designs, including custom PWAs, which meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals. In this role you will work closely with Operations, Production, and R&D on continuing to build our test capabilities for new products while improving existing test devices and methods. Your ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, in a fast paced, rapidly changing, short turn-around environment will be key factor to the success of the team.


Requirements



  • MS in Electrical Engineering 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to commit to a 6 month internship

  • Swiss, EU (25) Citizenship or Valid Swiss Work Permit required

  • Schematics and Layout

  • Python programming

  • Previous internship experience is a plus
