Senior Product Owner - Digital Banking (80-100%)

Excellent senior Product Owner opportunity joining one of the bank’s most innovative change the bank initiatives. Join a team working to digitize the client’s credit journeys and automate F2B the bank’s credit processes. Our project has high management attention and we regularity provide updates to the Executive Board and Business Area heads. The role offers the opportunity to learn about the full credit value chain from acquisition, pricing to installation and digitizing credit contracts. Key focus is the development and implementation of concepts, ideas and innovations related to pricing of our mortgage and loan products. In addition, the role provides access to direct client interaction and feedback. Given our agile approach, you have the possibility to prioritize and take decisions quickly generating significant impact. As a Product Owner, you will lead a small cross-functional agile team, which will further strengthen your management skills.



  • Together with the existing Product Management and Stakeholders developing a product and pricing vision

  • Employing Design Thinking techniques and working with clients to develop outstanding journeys

  • Defining, prioritizing, writing, reviewing and implementing features, epics and user stories for agile development

  • Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and the development team constantly providing feedback to both

  • Striking a good balance between building the right thing, building the thing right and building it fast

  • Taking part in agile ceremonies including leading grooming and planning

  • Engaging with key stakeholders of Digitization, Front Office, Finance, Treasury, Credit Risk, Regulatory, Operations, General Counsel, Compliance and more

  • Management and conceptual set-up of end-to-end requirements from a business perspective

  • Ensuring that your delivery adds value to the organization

Your skills and experience

 

  • Strong experience with agile project management and delivery 

  • Strong understanding of the key business processes in the financial industry

  • Ability to deal with different cultures and locations (onshore and offshore)

  • Experience in either target operating model definition, business process re-engineering or business workflow implementation

  • A customer centric approach, strong communication skills and a deep desire to learn new things

  • Analytical and critical mind-set in order to challenge and improve existing processes

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Good understanding of loan pricing methodologies are a plus
