Specialist for Global Holistic Client Risk Monitoring

Your field of responsibility

 

As an important function within the Bank’s AML risk management framework, you will be responsible for the performance of various controls at a holistic client level, ensuring accuracy, consistency and plausibility of client information and associated risk assessments across business areas and jurisdic-tions. You will work at the cross-section of business and control functions, collaborating directly with the Front Office, First Line of Defense Support as well Second Line of Defense SMEs. You will have a focus on high risk client relationships and will make an important contribution to mitigate these risks effectively.

Your skills and experience

 

We are looking for professionals with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a large bank, pref-erably in a Private Banking Front Office function, in a Compliance function or in a Business Risk Management / First Line of Defense function. Further skills and experience we are looking for in-clude:



  • An university degree in business administration, banking & finance, law, international relations or an equivalent higher education

  • Experience in the management of Financial Crime related risks / prior knowledge in this area (KYC reviews, transaction monitoring, etc.)

  • Ideally, familiarity with front office processes and risk management related requirements (such as periodic or event-triggered reviews of Politically Exposed Persons)

  • Ability to prioritize and plan efficiently in an environment with a high degree of change and com-plexity

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex messages or content in a simple and understandable manner

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a can do attitude and the willingness to take ownership

  • Proficiency in English is required, other languages such as Portuguese or Spanish are an ad-vantage
