Project Coordinator Trainee (Geneva - Switzerland)

Following the announcement by the FIA in December 2020 for a new Disability & Accessibility scholarship, an exciting new opportunity is now available at the FIA. Within the Safety Department, the Project Coordinator Trainee (student) focuses on supporting the FIA Sport & Mobility projects and objectives related to the Disability & Accessibility Commission.


Remote working is preferred due to Coronavirus restrictions, with occasional attendance at the FIA office in Geneva as required.


MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Support the Disability & Accessibility Commission Manager with various projects aimed at improving access and participation of disabled people in motor sport

  • Support the Sustainable Mobility Programme Manager with various projects aimed at advancing the Disability & Accessibility Mobility agenda

  • Co-ordinate the creation and deployment of the accreditation process for motor sport venues within the DAA Accessible Podiums project

  • Plan and create social media posts for the Disability & Accessibility Commission Instagram account



  • Develop ideas to improve processes and grow the disabled motor sport community


PROFILE:



  • Student in business, marketing or sports management

  • Specific real-world knowledge or experience with the typical challenges faced by people with physical impairments

  • Proactive, responsive, efficient and highly motivated to perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Fluency in English, working knowledge of French or Spanish an advantage
