The Institute of Political Science at the University of Bern (Switzerland, Prof. Isabelle Stadelmann-Steffen) has the following vacancy:
From 1 September (or by agreement) for a period of four years (48 months). The position serves the SNSF-funded Sinergia "Sociotechnological Breakthrough of Thermal Energy Storage - a new Approach of Constructive Technology Assessment (SOTES)" under the direction of Prof. Isabelle Stadelmann-Steffen. SOTES is an interdisciplinary project in which political scientists and engineers work together to find ways to overcome the current gap between the availability of technological solutions and their non-diffusion. From the political science side, the project will mainly focus on a panel survey of citizens and different stakeholder groups in order to capture the preferences of these different groups in the field of seasonal energy storage and to incorporate this knowledge into the technology assessment.
