Job Description




As an IC Production Engineer you will be part of a team of production specialists in charge of the u-blox IC production. From wafer production to final device, you are following the whole production chain and guarantee a smooth and stable production with highest quality. Continuous improvement projects together with internal or external partners, production monitoring and data reporting are integral components of this position.
The role is located in Thalwil, Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain production at sub-contractor

  • Regular reporting of production data to management

  • Identify process and test improvement opportunities and drive corrective action

  • Responsible for process optimization according six sigma

  • Support production non-conformities and RMA analysis

  • Responsible for the introduction of new products into mass production

 Your Skills and Experience

  • Master Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with IC production (e.g. IC assembly)

  • Knowledge of production test data analysis tools (e.g. Exensio, Data Power, Galaxy) and methodologies

  • Comfortable to deal with multiple projects in parallel and priority changes

  • Used to work independently and precisely

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel at our subcontractors site up to 10% of time

  • English fluent spoken and written

  • Swiss- or EU-citizen or valid work permit for Switzerland

Bonus Point

  • Background knowledge  in ATE program development (Advantest/Verigy 93K-RF and Xcerra/LTX MX-RF preferred)

  • Linux and scripts (e.g. C++, Matlab) programming experience

  • Experience with six sigma methodology
