About the team:


EU Cross Border Trade Markets consists of 7 markets (AT, BE, CH, IE, ES, NL, PL) in Europe. eBay’s focus within these markets is cross border trade, e.g. international export and import. It’s led by a dynamic international team located in Ireland. As Senior Manager EU Cross Border Trade Markets you will be part of the EU business organization, and lead, develop and empower a group of 5 business development managers.


Job responsibilities:



  • Drive customer- & revenue growth in 7 EU eBay markets (NL, PL, IE, AT, CH, BE, ES)


  • Lead and develop an international team of business development managers & account managers


  • Manage the daily operations


  • Budget & Strategy ownership


  • Define eBay’s growth strategy and vision in EU cross border trade markets


  • Coordinate cross-functional all Marketing, Business Development, Customer Experience and Product activities


  • Realize synergies with other eBay markets and organizations


  • Identify and assess strategic partnerships and opportunities in the markets


  • Provide C-level updates on business performance and strategic initiatives


  • Drive strategic and operational projects



Job requirements:



  • Must have bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience


  • 7+ years’ experience in e-commerce, commerce, or transactional business environments


  • Very experienced working in an international environment and managing an international team


  • Clear track record of success driving strategies and executing operating plans


  • Executive level verbal and written communication skills


  • Highly organized, systematic problem solver who thrives on being efficient


  • Strong analytical and project management skills


  • Experienced at working on detailed business cases from early concept through execution and ensuring transparency with stakeholders


  • Strong-cross functional leader with high degree of ownership and drive for results across regions, locations, and time zones


  • Naturally innovates and working with the unknown


  • Makes sound decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure


  • Strong knowledge and networking in e-commerce


  • Full professional proficiency in English required
