OT Engineer Manufacturing Systems

For Drug Product Services (DPS), our successful Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) branch we have exciting opportunities. Become part of a group responsible for the technical availability and optimization of all buildings, production plants and infrastructure in Stein and join us by applying for the position as IT Administrator Manufacturing Systems.


Key responsibilities:



  • Provide project support building interfaces between production and IT systems


  • Act as application Manager / Administrator position for the MES-System (MODA)


  • Contact person for the IT department as well as in charge of history and records in all computerized systems for production


  • Supervision and technical responsibility of assigned computerized systems including support and troubleshooting


  • Manage and execute changes in configuration of DCS and Historian systems (e.g.: DeltaV, OSI-PI)


  • Administration of IT/OT automation systems, SQL servers / databases and historical archiving systems as well as virtualized environments (e.g.: MS Hyper-V, Nutanix)


  • Secure operation (e.g. security patching) and maintenance of the automations IT/OT network / systems


  • Oversee external service providers and maintain up-to-date automation documents


  • Maintain and record data of functional locations, spare parts, instruction manuals, SOPs, technical documentation, etc.



Key requirements:



  • Bachelor or Master in Engineering preferably in Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent


  • Substantial work experience in automation and matrix organizations preferably pharmaceutical, food or chemical production


  • Excellent communication, social and team leading skills


  • Highly independent, motivated, organized and flexible working 


  • Innovative and solution-oriented thinker


  • Comprehension for business and finance processes preferred


  • Fluent in English
