As Lonza is growing, we are currently looking for a Network Supply Planner. You will perform all duties to ensure the monthly Supply Planning processes are completed to support the integrated planning processes. You will lead and support the Supply Planning piece of the Global S&OP process for the specific business, ensuring all databases are maintained accurately and provides reports and analysis to support BU decision-making and reporting. This role can be based in Basel or Slough, other Lonza locations can be discussed.
Key responsibilities:
Execute the monthly supply planning cycle including the creation and updating of supply plans and identification of key supply decisions
Prepare supply planning input into monthly S&OP cycle and annual budget cycle
Create and maintain supply related KPIs and use as basis for supply planning improvement initiatives
Liaise with all relevant stakeholders and functions to ensure supply plan represents consensus view of future supply plans and actions
Assists in leading the financial planning and annual operation and supply target-setting process for the business
Key requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or similar
Extensive experience in Supply Chain as well as a solid background in operations
CPIM (f.e. APICS)
Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support supply planning and site manufacturing strategy recommendations
Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis
Ability to utilise Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports
