Your tasks:

You will be responsible for all communication with customers in connection with customer orders and the planning and execution of all gemstone take-ins as well as shipments in our laboratory in Luzern.

In order to do that we are looking for someone who answers incoming phone calls as well as e-mail inquiries in a prompt, polite and professional manner.

From time to time, we do also greet clients in-house, which requires a professional and friendly demeanor.

Furthermore, you will be preparing order related documents such as Gübelin Gem Lab Reports, delivery notes and invoices, which requires good typing skills, detail-orientation and the ability to multitask.

As an office specialist, you will also be assisting your colleague with taking photos and editing photos of gemstones in case of absence or high workload. Our processes allow to learn these skills on the job.

We do have two other laboratories in Hong Kong and New York, with which we maintain a close cooperation.

In addition, you will be responsible for the timely and qualitatively correct filing of all physical documents in our laboratory information management system (LIMS).

Your profile:

Training in the field of administration

Very good office skills

Work experience in a similar position

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Structured, pro-active and solution-oriented way of working

Very good language skills in English and German

Assertiveness, reliability, adherence to deadlines

Strong team orientation
