At SwissFEL, where our Timing and Synchronization group operates a complex electro-optic synchronization system, you and your team support us in developing, commissioning, and maintaining ultra-precise timing references, including ultra-stable RF signals and pulses from mode-locked reference lasers. RF Engineer or Physicist Timing and Synchronization80 % or moreYour tasksIn a motivated cross-disciplinary team, you develop and commission femtosecond stable phase-locked loops while taking an agile approach to new requirements. As part of your responsibilities, you elaborate concepts and techniques for femtosecond-accurate synchronization. Collaborating closely with both German and English-speaking stakeholders, you maintain ongoing communication with various groups across different SwissFEL installations.Your profile

You are interested in sharing your experience in developing precise electro-optical and GHz RF systems to help us improve our low-noise and low-drift optical and GHz RF readout electronics
