The COO is responsible to implement operations in a fully aligned way with the Bank’s strategic plan in order to ensure that the Bank runs in the most efficient possible way. He/she oversees the operational and IT functions of the Bank.
The COO collaborates closely with the CEO and the Executive Committee in determining comprehensive goals and driving the operational vision, translating the strategy into actionable plans and procedures for thriving business growth, productivity and success, based in particular on efficient systems and tools infrastructure/platform that meet the best entrepreneurial standards, including keeping costs and risks under control.
The COO has a strategic role in supporting the transformation of the Bank, being a change agent, creating adherence to organizational change through involvement of key players and stakeholders.
In particular, the COO coordinates the definition of the Bank’s digital strategy, facilitates investment decisions regarding its deployment, organizes and oversees delivery.
In addition, the COO supervises the relationship with key outsourcing vendors such as Lombard Odier (core banking and back-office operations) and Amundi (technology, dealing and middle-office for Asset Management).
The COO is a permanent invitee or permanent member of the Bank Executive Committee and has leadership responsibility across Operations, IT and Security departments.
