First Line of Defense Senior Business Risk Manager

Your field of responsibility

 

Within International Wealth Management Sustainable Client Solutions (IWM SCS) Business Area you are the First Line of Defense Manager and will support the team in risk related topics and represent SCS in decision boards and cross-divisional working groups. You will participate and contribute into risk related committees. You are responsible to support senior management in fulfilling their risk objectives, identify weaknesses and actively drive change to improve processes.



  • Mandate incl. the early detection, recording, assessment, monitoring, prevention and mitigation of key non-financial risks, as well as timely and meaningful management reporting.

  • Establish standards, front office guidelines as well as training concepts in collaboration with Second Line of Defense to mitigate issues and to increase effectiveness and efficiency of con-trols.

  • Promote a sound risk culture and further evolve and implement an effective operational sustain-ability risk and control framework across IWM

  • Represent IWM SCS in overarching initiatives, lead SCS specific projects and actively support group wide projects

  • Coordinate audit and regulatory activities including remediation work

Your skills and experience

 

We are looking for an experienced First Line of Defense Business Risk Manager with the following experience:



  • A university degree or banking apprenticeship completed with a higher education

  • Experience in a similar function in the financial industry, or familiarity with the risk related pro-cesses, tools and guidelines of the bank

  • An open-minded person with the ability to perform excellent stakeholder management

  • You show a high degree of flexibility, the ability to cope with pressure and short deadlines with a strong focus on quality

  • You are a team player with strong project management, analytical and conceptual skills com-bined with a can-do attitude and a structured, solution oriented approach.
