Software Engineer

In a multidisciplinary team of audiology experts and SW engineers, you will contribute to the further evolution of our audiological design models. These models represent the behaviour of our hearing devices and SW applications during the fitting process which is required to adapt the hearing devices to the individual needs of hearing impaired persons. You will be part of our cross-functional and international development teams in an agile development environment allowing you to demonstrate your creativity and programming skills. 

Your tasks

• Optimize, extend and maintain the framework of our executable audiological MATLAB model as a reference


• Contribute to the evolution of the framework with focus on fitting of the hearing system (refactoring, simplification, new functionalities)


• Assess and exploit benefits of extending the current framework by including existing device abstraction models, hearing instrument models and ear canal models


• Coordinate and plan activities with other teams

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science or similiar


• Experience in developing and maintaining a Software Framework - object-oriented programming languages


• Experience in Software Engineering is a plus


• Ability or interest to learn to read and understand audiological specifications provided in MATLAB


• Flexible, creative and solution-oriented and systematic thinking


• Team-player, good communication skills and able to work in a distributed and agile collaboration environment


• Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in German is a plus
