Tasks

• Within this job you will take over the role of the international lead buyer. As such you will be responsible for the strategic development and procurement of all contract manufacturers for yogurt on behalf of several Emmi companies, supporting the success of one of the most important categories for Emmi.


• With your wide experience in project management and knowledge of the overall procurement process, you will manage the supplier relationship and lead savings and optimisation projects.


• Beyond your international lead buyer role, you will also source contract manufacturers for new and developing categories according to qualitative and quantitative targets, which will require a good expertise in plant operations and manufacturing processes.


• You will be taking an active role in developing innovations across the Emmi group and play a key part in bringing new products to life.


• With your entrepreneurial thinking, you will be developing manufacturing and supply chain strategies


• As a member of the Group Supply Chain team you will work closely with product development/R&D, Marketing, Quality Management, Logistics, Import & Export, Planning and Procurement.

Requirements

• Education: Studies in food technology or Economics or purchasing. Eventually further education in business administration/economics.


• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable function, plant management, purchasing, logistics, supply chain or equivalent.


• You have an in-depth knowledge of food and beverage production processes and the food and dairy industry in Europe and ideally also Americas.


• You are used to working autonomously, are self-motivated and have an agile and open mindset.


• with your convincing personality you can perform confidently in discussions with members of the group management and have highly developed communication skills. Ideally you have already gained experience in multicultural and international stakeholder management


• You are strong in networking and together with your positive 'can-do' attitude you successfully bring the right people together and create a collaborative working environment.


• You communicate fluently in English and German, any other language is an advantage.


• You are willing to travel internationally (20-40%) and have a driving licence.
