Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Your Mission is to play a strategical role to standardize and establish new QA processes within our
company to support our strategy of becoming a commercial organization

You will be part of the Operations teams reporting to the COO. In this role, you will work cross-
functional with all functions in Operations and also interact with R&D, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs
and Finance.

Your tasks:
o Lead, structure and improve the QA department at Evolva
o Take full ownership of Evolva’s Quality Excellence Program (formulate and implement policies
and procedures, monitor compliance and recommend improvements)
o Manage supplier (materials, products, or services) qualification
o Audit quality systems (internal and external)
o Ensure Customer Satisfaction: respond to product inquiries and customers questionnaires,
follow up on complaints, establish root cause, and report findings. Escalate critical non-
compliance issues and coordinate remediation efforts (CAPA).
o Provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards
o Maintain key initiatives scorecard and reporting

Your profile:
o Master’s in science or similar education
o At least 8 years’ Experience within the field of QA and/or QC, preferably gained within a global
pharmaceutical organization (e.g., food, dietary supplements, personal care, or biotechnology)
o Analytical skills and leadership to collect and analyze data and information, organize correct
o Strong knowledge of quality systems regulatory compliance, GMP expertise and experience in
active ingredients industry preferred.
o Communication flow internally as well as externally to draw correct conclusion.
o Responsible for maintaining and further developing the existing QA systems and processes
both for our CMOs as well as Evolva.
o Be target oriented, supportive and collaborative with all the other Evolva functions
o Have a pragmatic “issue solving” approach: see a solution opportunity in everyday issue.
o Be a strong team worker: collaborative and customer focused in the various projects at Evolva
(e.g. production transfers, new business development at new CMOs).
o Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team; establishing
priorities, manage multiple activities, and adjust to changing priorities in a dynamic work
environment.
o Certification in one or more of the following is highly desirable: CQE (Quality Engineer
Certification), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarked program (e.g., SQF, BRC,
FSSC 22000, etc.), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Food Safety Preventive Controls
Alliance (FSPCA) – Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) for Human or Animal Food,
FSPCA-Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP), HACCP, or other recognized and
relevant programs.
o Willingness to travel up to 10% withing Europe
