Your future role?


 


As a Procurement Innovation Manager, you will join our Global Procurement team you will directly report to our Head of Procurement Innovation. You will be a member for procurement innovation you will develop “mindset of innovation” within the procurement community and you will ensure supplier enabled innovation activities. 


 


This position needs to travel up to 30% and could be based in different location:


Multiple location: Vernier (Switzerland), Kemptthal (Switzerland), Cincinnati (USA), Singapore (Singapore), Avignon (France)

In this exciting opportunity you will be in charge of the following responsibilities: 


 



  • Partner with S&T organization, regional innovation organization, operation organization by bringing the relevant supplier / solution to ensure innovations agenda.

  • Track new players to new technologies or markets that would provide potential Innovation solutions.

  • Participate in innovation contract management (Working with Legal/IP)

  • Work with global and local procurement to support innovation mindset

  • Consolidate project pipeline.

  • Work with global procurement to identify supplier innovation opportunities in relation to unmeet needs

  • Participate to portfolio reviews.

  • Be where innovation happens ; visit suppliers and innovation fairs.; analyze and feedback

  • Help deploy tools and systems.

  • Negotiate term sheet and pre-commercialization agreement


 


Your success profile includes:


 



  • University degree in chemistry/ biology / biotechnology design/food design

  • 5 or more year’s experience in product management, sales or procurement in F&F or Functional ingredients

  • Experience in global organization and able to navigate in matrix organization.

  • Process and Systems knowledgeable

  • Track record in Project management and execution

  • Fluent in English, other languages could be an asset

  • Experience in project management

  • Strategic thinking but with hands 'on capacities

  • Experience with business needs and ability to engage with stakeholders at different levels and with different functions

  • Cultural awareness 

  • CI mindset and ability to Challenge current state.

  • Solid experience in tracking, monitoring, measuring
