Tyre Performance Engineer

 Would you like to

• develop and improve our understanding and analysis of the tyre through simulation and rig/track measurements?


• correlate tyre models to both rig and track data?


• contribute to advanced simulation models’ development to further improve tyre behaviour correlation for overall car performance?


• provide tyre performance analysis and support to the Track Engineering department both prior to and during race/test events?


• support the Aerodynamics and Design departments with tyre related matters?


• help finding performance advantages based on tyre usage?


• travel with the Race Team when needed to provide on-track tyre related race support?

Do you have

• an education to master’s degree or PhD level in mechanical engineering or applied mathematical field?


• experience in tyre modelling and simulation techniques, particularly in the field of vehicle dynamics / tyre thermo mechanics?


• strong mathematical and data analysis skills?


• good understanding of the performance relevant aspects of the vehicle-tyre interaction?


• work experience in a tyre related field, ideally within a tyre manufacturer or in a high-level motorsport environment?


• a high-level of expertise in Matlab (C++ would also be desirable)?


• strong English (verbal and written) language skills?
