We are looking for a highly motivated personality for the position of:

Global Networks Regional Manager Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA)

 

Based in our office in Switzerland, in the region of Landquart, you will guide and support the MENA Region. You will provide strategic and operational management to AO’s MENA boards as well as managing the team for the region.

 

In this role you will be required to:

• Managing the budget and financial performance


• Orchestrating the Regional Board of one or more clinical specialties and country councils


• Managing a team


• Ensuring professional planning and execution of educational events


• Build relationship with partners


• Driving innovation in education and network management and implementing appropriate stakeholder communication


• Managing communication to various stakeholders


• Manage fellowships, local surgeon networks and research programs


• Ensuring compliance of the region with legal, external and internal regulations

In order to master this challenge, you should have:

• University or similar degree


• Ideally at least five years proven significant professional management experience in a regional function


• Experience and passion to work in the MENA region


• Practice in establishing and implementing a strategic plan


• A background in the medical or scientific field and/or experience with medical education would be an advantage


• Strong leadership, project management and communication skills


• A proactive and service-oriented personality and consensus-oriented


• The ability to manage strong personalities


• A convincing personality who can negotiate and deal on all levels


• A high stress resistance


• The willingness to travel (up to 30%)


• Fluency in English is a must. Mastering of one other regional language is beneficial
