Supply Chain Excellence and Senior Improvement Manager (80% - 100%)

Ihre Aufgaben

The Global Supply Chain Organization (GSCM) leads and continuously improves the Supply Chain with regional Hubs, Producing Organizations and Suppliers. The Supply Chain Excellence Team leads and supports global and local improvements. To further grow the team we are looking for a Supply Chain Excellence and Senior Improvement Manager.

Your tasks

  • Lead and support projects to improve the performance to the customers or the Supply Chain internal efficiency and effectiveness. Typical improvement targets are On Time Delivery, Lead Times, Productivity, Cross Unit Supply Chains and Process Harmonization.

  • Analyze current states including data analysis; develop - together with various business and central functions - future states. Consider internal and external best practice in the design of future processes. Drive the implementation of improved processes.

  • The project scope might be specific situations in a production facility and back offices or cross functional SC processes and setups on a global level

  • Lead projects in collaboration with operational units

  • Take over responsibilities in global initiatives and in Strategic Projects


Ihr Profil



  • Further education in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is a requirement

  • At least 5 years of experience in driving strategical projects and process improvement in a highly-decentralized environment, motivating for change, change management and facilitation, implementing and applying lean principles especially in back office processes

  • Several years' work experience in a challenging SC role – preferably with leadership function, in a global company and very good understanding of Supply Chain Processes - from customer order to customer satisfaction, incl. related processes as e.g. Industrialization

  • Proven project management skills and ability to drive projects in complex setups in matrix organizations

  • Able to work independently and highly effectively in a virtual and multicultural team environment

  • High energy, very strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and solutions-oriented, drive for change and implementation

  • Strong communicator in German and English

  • Position in general requires moderate travel (20-30%) but might as well require e.g. 3 month more intensive on site presence in one of our manufacturing locations
