Job location

In this 60 - 100% job you work partly from home.
You travel up to 10% of your working time within Switzerland.

The Swisscom Enterprise Architecture team is the place where strategic topics get developed. You make a valuable contribution to our three pillars: Evolving the architectural vision, aligning the architecture across the company, and enforcing the architecture governance. As enterprise architect, you interact, collaborate, and confer with various stakeholders on all levels of management to build a vast network and have lasting impact.

We believe in the future of data centricity, analytics, and cloud. You consult and drive the data and analytics architecture of Swisscom. Being at the interface between modern data-driven technologies and business requirements, you actively create data-based products and services that generate value for our customers and Swisscom. Among other tasks, you closely collaborate with expert DevOps teams within the company. You have a strong technical background and are able to lead in-depth design and implementation discussions with our engineers.

With your knowledge and background in data architecture and analytics, you are a key driver in defining and evolving the architecture for cloud-based data services. What you bring:

Your professional profile

• Master's degree (Uni/UAS/technical college) in computer science or a similar field


• Several years of experience in enterprise architecture and modelling in large and agile companies


• Hands-on experience with transformation projects in the area of data-driven business models


• Extensive background in developing data driven services, from new business models to efficient operations and governance


• Broad industry-network and know-how in the area of Telco, Cloud, IoT, and "Industry 4.0"


• Strong technical background in data architecture, data modelling, data warehousing, large-scaled big data environments, cloud computing, and machine learning paradigms

• Track record of designing and setting up data driven service ecosystems and creating successful partnerships


• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (SAFe) and modern operational paradigms (SRE)


• Very skilled at managing stakeholders up to C-level

• Highly autonomous and reliable, not afraid to make decisions


• Excellent storytelling and moderation skills, very good English and German
