Capital Advisory Specialist

Within Vontobel Wealth Management, Capital Advisory focuses on Ultra High Net Individuals, Family Offices, Entrepreneurs and C-Level Executives and their sophisticated banking and investment requirements.

The Capital Advisory team consists a of small group of Corporate Finance specialists with extensive experience in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets.
The team closely cooperates with Wealth Management Relationship Managers and the relevant Vontobel product specialists with the goal to structure, execute and implement the best solution for the target client base.

Your opportunity

• Contribute actively to the origination and execution of M&A, capital markets, lending and investment related projects with existing UHNWI clients or prospects


• Perform company valuations


• Support the market screening and develop origination strategies for transaction and asset management opportunities


• Coordinate with Vontobel Wealth- and Asset Management professionals, other product and service specialists, legal and tax advisors and other internal and external parties in the context of origination and execution projects


• Support Capital Advisory in various external and internal marketing activities and documents, transaction approvals, administrative and regulatory tasks

 

You bring / You are

• Master’s degree in banking & finance, business administration, mathematics


• 2 - 3 years relevant practical experience in Investment Banking and/or UHNWI desk in Wealth Management


• Solid understanding of the Swiss economic and regulatory system


• Excellent knowledge in German and English


• Interest in banking, financial markets and operations


• Analytical and structured thinking


• Pro-active attitude, team player, versatile, able to work under pressure


• Strong social and relationship skills


• Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel
