THE OPPORTUNITY:
Help us build a Total Reward capability across the EMEA region!
You will be responsible for design, management and effective administration of reward programs assigned to your sub region of 5 countries. Reporting to the EMEA Reward Director, with a “dotted line” to local HR Director, You will be the key point of contact for HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Local business managers – investigating their reward based challenges and developing solutions in line with company philosophy. In addition you will work with external vendors, HR Services, Payroll and finance organizations to ensure operational excellence when delivering our existing benefits programs.

Proactive management of Compensation & Benefit programs to meet evolving business objectives, the changing workforce and economic environment.
Monitor Compensation & Benefit business environment and lead the benchmarking, research and analysis of compensation & benefit programs
Identify trends and emerging legislation (such as gender equity)
Ensure plans remain compliant, market competitive & fit for purpose.
consider appropriate courses of action including pros & cons
Prepare business cases and cost projections to support recommendations.
Ensure administrative excellence of benefits operations.
process documentation, improvement and automation as part of a global transformation initiative.
ongoing oversight of third party suppliers
escalation point for internal and external inquiries relating to plans, policies and procedures.
Actively participate in key compensation processes such as benchmarking, range development, annual merit cycle, mandatory increases, role architecture and related issues.
Reward M&A integration activities within sub-region. Including driving further consolidation of legacy acquisitions benefit programs.
Knowledge, Management and standardization of reward policies & programs (Leaves of Absence, “On Call” shift and overtime)
Proactively lead the annual benefit plan renewal processes, including evaluation of costs, design reviews, drive the approvals process and subsequent employee communication.
Co-ordinate the planning, organizing and directing the activities related to annual enrollments and changes to existing benefit plan design, changes in processes etc.
Develop and deliver effective communication material/training documentation for new and existing programs. (eg web based content, on site presentations, plan summary documents).
Work closely with HR Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Service Teams in EMEA as well as corporate Compensation, Benefits and Finance in Canada.
Work with benefit suppliers, salary survey providers, third party administrators and consultants to provide quality service and timely delivery of actions (eg key projects renewals, issue resolution)
WHAT IT TAKES:
Good prior experience in Compensation & Benefits.
Experience supporting a multinational is preferred, with specific focus on EMEA/Germany
Experience of German pension plan management or consolidation.
Experience of compensation practices supporting a pay for performance culture would be an advantage. Including annual merit cycles, market range development, job title architecture and external salary surveys
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field, or relevant professional qualification.
Working knowledge of local regulations, filing and compliance requirements
Experience of German pension plan management or consolidation.
Experience of compensation practices supporting a pay for performance culture would be an advantage. Including annual merit cycles, market range development, job title architecture and external salary surveys

Confident manipulating data using Excel
Experience of SAP would be an advantage
