We offer



  • An Unusual chance to become a part and lead as deputy head a dynamic Credit Portfolio Management team in Credit Risk Management of International Wealth Management. Credit business is a key growth driver in International Wealth Management and covers a wide range of products (e.g. Lombard, Real Estate Financing, Corporate Financing, Aircraft/Ship Financing, etc.) in several regions (Europe, Middle East, LATAM, etc.). 

  • An exciting and challenging Director position that reports into the divisional Head of Credit Portfolio Management

  • Manage, contribute, develop and regularly review the adequacy of the Appetite Framework (CRAF) and its risk controls, close collaboration with global Credit Risk Portfolio Management regarding the global CRAF and its risk controls

  • Develop and assess views of the divisional credit risk portfolio composition and it’s risk drivers, undertake analysis and investigation into key risk concentrations 

  • Monitor emerging issues and changes in the market which could impact the portfolio and lead credit risk analyses to anticipated event risks (e.g. upcoming elections, regional political instability) including stress and scenario analyses

  • Become the divisional key contact for credit economic risk capital; cover report sign offs, challenge/improve current status quo and address Credit Portfolio Management requirements in divisional and global projects 

  • Support the divisional Head of Credit Risk Portfolio Management to respond to queries from global Credit Risk Portfolio Management, divisional Enterprise Risk Management, divisional CCO and divisional CRO in regards to dimensions and nature of divisional credit risk exposure

  • Support regulatory or internal/external auditor queries and delivery of regulatory or audit remediation

You Offer

 

You offer:


 



  • University degree in finance or quantitative field or equivalent 

  • At least 10 years’ experience in Credit Risk Management, preferably in credit portfolio management (including credit stress testing, concentration risk management and development of risk appetite framework) or as a credit officer 

  • High analytical skills, ability to understand complexities within the credit portfolio and the impact of data sourcing and exposure calculations

  • Independent, accurate and systematic working style, high degree of flexibility, hands-on approach and high drive to think in innovative ways and changes 

  • Outstanding skills in MS-Office, particularly Excel and handling of large data; basic coding skills in at least one programming language and experience with statistical modelling are an asset 

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. German skills are a plus
