Azure Cloud DevOps Lead Engineer

Your field of responsibility

 

Join us in an exciting role within the Credit Suisse’s global enterprise communications/ Unified Collaboration service. Your responsibilities include running Instant Messaging application within Credit Suisse’s Azure based IaaS application platform – straddling both Operations and Engineering aspects, whilst providing technical leadership to the global team. You will have the opportunity to work in a global Instant Messaging project, to modernize internal to external chat capabilities. This is a chance to grow within the organization aligned with our accelerated cloud adoption strategy.

As a member within the Credit Suisse’s enterprise communications / Unified Collaboration service you will be working in a global DevOps team where both DevOps as well as engineering teams are situated in 5 locations, to provide time zone coverage and is part of the global Unified Collaborations team umbrella. Your skills and experience

 

  • Two plus years of experience with Kubernetes, Azure, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform (or equivalent, Ansible) 

  • Hands on experience in monitoring, reporting and automation of Azure Infrastructure

  • Three to five years of proven experience with Linux and shell scripting, including full development life cycle (design, coding, test, build, QA, deployment and maintenance). Command of tools such as Jira, GitHub. Experience in lean, agile environments is desirable.

  • Technical team leading experience with the ability to influence and lead stakeholders, to build and develop your team and to manage book of work

  • Root cause analysis for incidents, problem solving and service improvement

  • Natural leadership abilities supporting Service manager; able to act as deputy for the service manager; encourage team members by managing book of work activities
