After Sales Technician Elevator Hydraulics UK & Ireland

The successful candidate will be required to be highly professional, self-motivated and customer facing to fulfil this role with a strong technical background.

Main elements / tasks:

• Investigation, diagnosis and rectification of technical malfunctions at customer premises (UK and Ireland).


• Administration and reporting skills including accurate cost / diagnosis reporting.


• Commissioning of elevator products at customer or end user premises (UK and Ireland)


• Training courses for customers and elevator industry engineers at BH, site or offsite locations.


• Technical support on the phone.


• Customer advice / costings on modernisation / upgrade options for historic and current elevator products.


• Customer advice / costings in regards to spare parts requirements.

The requirements:

• Technical qualification to minimum NVQ3 standard in mechanical, automation and / or electrical engineering disciplines with a view to receiving product specific training at our manufacturing facility in Neuheim, Switzerland. 


• Practical experience in the elevator / lift sector (repairing, servicing and commissioning).


• Professional experience in hydraulics would be an advantage.

The candidate should be professional, customer orientated, self-motivated with good communication, PC user and administrational skills. Being able to work as part of a team or independently in an efficient manner is an important aspect for this role.
