Your responsibilities



  • Arrange and manage insurance protection for HZI’s assets and liabilities

  • Identify risk protection requirements, implement insurance coverage and arrange for respective adjustments to the program or individual policies

  • Manage insurance policies including premium assessments and payments

  • Evaluate country-specific insurance solutions for subsidiaries and projects

  • Provide project-related insurance support including

    • Review and negotiate insurance requirements in tenders and project contracts

    • Activate insurance coverage for risk events

    • Liaise with project management to provide risks and events information to insurers

    • Prepare project specific insurance schedules and documentation


  • Manage and settle insurance claims


Your experiences



  • BA or equivalent degree in Economics or Law with 5+ years’ experience as insurance specialist or insurance manager in an international industrial environment

  • Solid understanding of insurance contracts

  • Fluency in English and German;

  • Very good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

  • Good networker with problem-solving skills

  • Self-organized, self-driven, proactive and independent personality

  • Comfortable to be first point of reference within an organization
