Omni-channel & Customer Journey Lead

At a Glance:


This is your opportunity to become a core part of On’s Direct-to-Consumer(DTC) team and take on the responsibility to design and lead On’s approach to omni-channel and customer journey. You will be in charge of assessing, defining and implementing own-channel and third-party omni-channel solutions in collaboration with the Sales functions. Consistency in the consumer-facing aspect is as important as ensuring On’s backend is able to support those initiatives. In addition, you will take a fresh look at every step in the customer journey, from the first connection to the 10th purchase to being part of a loyalty program, and ensure that On’s fans experience a consistent WOW factor and a seamless journey. You will be based out of On’s Headquarters in Zurich where most of On’s DTC leadership sits and to allow best access across the company for your cross-functional work. 


Your Team:


As you might expect from a young consumer brand, the DTC team at On is a fast-paced place to be. This team of interdisciplinary all-stars are used to rapid turnaround times and ambitious targets. From engineers to designers, to data scientists,to digital marketing specialists to retail store designers and store associates, this is the team responsible for creating winning tools, campaigns and experiences in On’s online and offline channels that run the length of the purchase funnel. The shared goal? Efficient growth at high speed – what else?


Your Mission:



  • Manage existing Omni-channel solutions end-to-end; upgrade solutions and ensure consistent implementations across markets and channels by enabling teams across On organisation 

  • Identify possible omni-channel solutions for On and create a business case for these solutions. Pilot blueprints in select markets by coordinating cross-functional project teams to bring them to life and turn results into a long-term strategy and vision

  • Map cross-channel user journeys to ensure a seamless online-to-offline / offline-to-online experience Identify the touchpoints that need a revamp and new touchpoints that should be added to deliver more of the On WOW

  • Bring the customer journey in On’s own physical retail to life and combine the journey with the rest of the DTC experience 

  • Work with the product(website) team as well as the backend functions to ensure system readiness for both omni-channel and customer journey improvements

  • Be a sparing partner to the Customer Experience team to help think through projects and automations and which part of the business will be impacted and how the solution should look on an end-to-end level. 


Your Story:



  • You have 5+ years of relevant work experience with high-growth consumer-facing DTC environments, ideally including omni-channel and customer journey design

  • You are highly analytical with strong knowledge of digital KPIs and expertise in deriving growth strategies from data insights

  • You have an entrepreneurial growth mindset, eager to challenge the status quo with an appetite for relentless optimization

  • You have proven experience shaping high-level strategies and working through many cross-functional teams across time zones to meet objectives. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, but love to also get your hands dirty and do heavy lifting yourself

  • You are excited to occasionally travel to different market
