Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

The Commodity Manager EMS / Electronics is acting as focal and primary contact for all Bruker BioSpin strategic procurement related activities in the assigned commodity.
The primary job function is to develop and execute a global commodity sourcing strategy based on the business requirements of internal customers.

• Develop and communicate commodity business objectives


• Design commodity sourcing strategies based on overall procurement strategy


• Establish and develop supplier portfolio, rationalize supply base and maintain Released Supplier List


• Create commodity technology roadmaps and adapt sourcing strategy to new technologies


• Ensure cross-site coordination of commodity and oversee implementation plans


• Assure execution and adherence to commodity strategy


• Possess accountability for savings target


• Provide content lead to Strategic Buyers


• Establish Supplier Relationship Management with top suppliers in coordination with Strategic Buyer


• Implement cost management strategies including cost analysis, frame construct for global contracts


• Collaborate in company strategy development

Qualifikationen

• University degree in business administration




• 5-10 years of working experience in the area of direct procurement EMS / Electronics




• Proven understanding of law in terms of contracts and regulations




• Ability to develop and implement new concepts




• Innovative in the approach of solving problems and ways of working




• Entrepreneurial vision




• Work independently




• Experienced in project management




• Excellent communication skills




• Ability to build relationships within the Bruker group




• Very good written and oral English and German skills
