The mission of the Process Maintenance Supervisor is to manage the maintenance of all production and laboratory equipment in collaboration with his/her line manager and to assist the latter in managing the Process Maintenance team.


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED



  • Experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Expert in several maintenance-related technical fields. Comprehensive knowledge of the following areas: dry-form production equipment, primary packaging equipment, secondary packaging equipment, etc. Must be able to analyze and develop solutions to complex mechanical and electrical problems.

  • Must be familiar with cGMP procedures, critical systems and local practices.

  • Experienced with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Must adhere to all the site’s safety regulations and ensure compliance.

  • Fluent in French and good knowledge of English (spoken and written).

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills.

  • Excellent team and leadership spirit.

  • Multi-skilled with ability to work on own initiative.

  • “Customer service” oriented.

  • Capable of taking the initiative and resolving problems.

  • Good computer literacy. (MS Office, CMMS, etc.)


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supervise or implement to the highest standards preventive and corrective maintenance on Process equipment. This includes encapsulation lines, compression lines, primary packaging lines, and secondary packaging lines. Laboratory equipment also comes within the scope of Process equipment.

  • Responsible for the process maintenance team. This includes motivating and developing the team by providing guidance, on-the-job training and identifying development opportunities for team members. Ensure the efficiency, reliability and quality of Process equipment. Ensure that the chosen maintenance operations (preventive or corrective) do not impact the validity of the equipment or the quality of the end product.

  • Develops effective process maintenance KPI’s, and regularly communicates results.

  • Assist the line manager in managing all aspects of the Process Maintenance service and manage the service in that person’s absence (manage requests from outside the service, schedules, deviations, audits, conflicts, EIP performances, etc.).

  • Manage the day-to-day work of the Process Maintenance service (manage WOs and DISDIs, review and approve procedures, review weekly datasheets, etc.)

  • Assist immediate colleagues in their daily activities by improving their basic knowledge. This position requires strong training and coaching skills.

  • Can help the Utilities Maintenance Supervisor in his/her daily activities.

  • Draft maintenance procedures and review the procedures and forms of Process technicians.

  • Inform the various partners about their activities, their lines of action or the work needed to ensure that installations function properly.

  • Participate in CMMS management. (Codification, follow-up on WOs and DISDIs, follow-up on components and spare parts, organize planned preventive maintenance, etc.)

  • Based on historical data of machines, the post holder will note defects or breakdowns and advise line management, as well as suggest corrective solutions. Define continuous improvements, assist in and contribute to optimizing production and laboratory equipment by participating in the management of associated projects. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement.

  • Participate in setting up and validating new equipment with engineering, internal departments and external contractors.

  • Ensure that GMP requirements, Health, Safety and Environment regulations and procedures are applied and complied with at all times when carrying out maintenance.

  • Participate in standby duties.

  • Be prepared to make business trips.

  • Assist production teams in the equipment settings.

  • Assist, advise the production service in their weekly activities.

  • Participates in the daily production meeting.
