Job Description


As part of our Devices Team, you will be responsible for our IoT hardware certification and collaborate with the team in specification, design, development and testing phases. 


You will join a team of enthusiastic hardware and firmware engineers, developing ATEX compliant devices from specification to mass production, satisfying our customers’ and market requirements in terms of safety and functionality.


 


Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:



  • Assess specifications, design and work results throughout our development cycle and assure compliance to market and customer requirements 

  • Organize testing to obtain industrial certifications, including but not limited to full CE and ATEX compliance for product installation in hazardous and industrial locations and environments 

  • Manage and maintain ATEX compliance of existing and future products 

  • Support manufacturers during audits 

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturers, testing laboratories, international notified bodies and certification authorities to obtain required certifications 


 


 


 


Qualifications



  • Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or other relevant studies 

  • Experience with product certification 

  • Experience with ATEX, FCC and HazLoc certification is a plus 

  • Autonomous and self-driven way of working and willingness to take initiative 

  • Ability to understand testing and certification needs and “translating” it for our engineers and managers 

  • Willingness to learn and constantly develop yourself 

  • Being comfortable with working in an international and dynamic environment 

  • Good communication skills 

  • Fluent English language skills 

  • ATEX experience preferred but not necessary
