Your ‘day to day’ As a Sr Officer – Laboratory Quality Management System you will be responsible for the implementation of the relevant PMI's Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 17025, in the testing laboratories within R&D in Neuchatel, for Reduced Risk Products (RRP) and Conventional Cigarettes (CC), ensuring the establishment and maintenance of the QA program are in conformance with national and international regulations and applicable PMI internal quality standards. You will lead the QA program to ensure that facility, equipment, personnel, methodologies, procedures, records and systems are under control by executing and reporting facility, process, system and study based audits. More specifically, you'll • Ensure the full alignment of quality strategy and its deployment across the Testing laboratory activities. Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve targets • Plan, schedule, perform and report routine and non-routine facility-, process-, systems- and study-based inspections to assure management that internal procedures/standards are in compliance with relevant national and international requirements (ISO 17025) • Perform QA review of testing laboratories SOPs and WIKIs in compliance to ISO 17025, to verify their conformity with RRP QMS and applicable regulations. Create and harmonize QA SOPs/WIKIs to align with the PMI Quality Organization • Lead inspection readiness together with the management to ensure that the R&D Testing Laboratories are ready for inspections (Accreditation ISO 17025 and others) • Develop into a specialist in 'state of the art' implementation of ISO 17025 compliance on a global basis in order to consistently provide coaching, mentoring and advice to peers and colleagues • Review, approve and follow-up Corrective and Preventive Actions as result of the audits and inspections • Lead testing laboratory management review, to ensure focus continuous improvement, and define, monitor relevant critical metrics to follow by the organization. Who we’re looking for • Master’s Degree in scientific areas (Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry) or equivalent • Substantial work experience in Life Sciences, leading teams preferably within a R&D laboratory environment with ISO 17025 quality system • Demonstrated lead auditor expertise in maintenance of quality management systems and continuous improvement • Sound work knowledge of OECD principles of Good Laboratory Practice and ICH GCP • Proficient in English and French, both written and spoken.
