Business Manager and Chief of Staff SUB IT COO (m/w/d 80-100%) / AVP - VP

Your field of responsibility

 

You will be an integral part of SUB IT COO and work closely with your peers in various activities and daily business. You will drive forward and act as an accelerator of various cutting-edge, innovative topics for SUB IT. You will collaborate with the team and stakeholders to develop and/or refine the IT strategy, governance, stakeholder management, communication and performance measurements for our future agile organization. Supporting the Cluster Management in preparing for management meetings, town halls, offsite arrangements and internal and external communication will be part of your responsibility as well as performing analysis and consolidation of information to support decision taking. This role also brings exposure to senior management and the opportunity to gain broad hands-on insights and experience into how a large IT organization is managed.

Your skills and experience

 

The following skills are required in order to be successful in this challenging role:



  • University degree, ideally business, economics, IT or Computer Science or equivalent

  • Broad understanding of IT Management and good knowledge of IT organizations is a plus

  • 5 years of relevant work experience working with a global financial institution or consultancy firm

  • Experience/Certification in agile or lean methodology is a plus

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills paired with strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach

  • Highly collaborative personality, with excellent analytical as well as steering and coordination skills

  • Creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas and out-of-the-box solutions to answer work-related problems

  • Proactive and committed problem solver who can anticipate a need before it occurs

  • Initiative and flexibility to handle various tasks and changing priorities paired with a hands-on mentality, results orientation and quality focus

  • You have an open mind-set to leverage and upskill yourself on new tools and methods (Jira, Confluence, Business Automation, Data Analysis, etc.). Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Power Point and Excel.
