As IT Support/Production Engineer you will drive improvements in production. To strengthen our team in Schaffhausen, we are looking for a committed personality for IT support (FULL TIME).

Your responsibilities

• Maintenance and expansion of the local IT infrastructure in cooperation with the process managers in production, as well as ensuring operation


• Installation and configuration as well as repair/replacement of hardware and peripheral devices


• User support both remotely and on-site at the user's premises about IT-related questions and problems


• Participation in solutions in Industry 4.0 requirements as well as in the further development of automation solutions


• Cooperation with the global IT service desk


• As part of a small team, you will be responsible for the operation of the local IT infrastructure


• Creating or maintaining documentation and operating manuals

Your background

• Completed training as an IT specialist or studies in the IT field, IT system integrator or career changer with comparable qualifications


• Structured and solution-oriented way of working


• Experience in IT administration and IT infrastructure


• Good knowledge of MS Windows, Office 365, MS SQL


• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN & WAN concepts, routers, switches, firewalls, network devices as well as mobile scanners and label printing in production environments


• Flexibility, willingness to work hard and ability to work in a team


• Ability to quickly understand technical contexts and develop concepts independently


• Passion for information technology and hands-on mentality


• Business fluent in written and spoken German
