Nestlé Research is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, employs approximately 800 people and is comprised of four Nestlé Institutes: Material Sciences; Health Sciences, Food Safety & Analytical Sciences and Packaging Sciences. As thought/group leader in the field of food oral processing and perception physiology, you will be at the forefront of our research in this field. You can make a difference e.g. by further enhancing our plant-based products and by bringing in your creativity leading to discoveries. Based at Nestlé Research, you will be able to drive and direct research of relevance to any Nestlé’s product categories, and at the same time you will be in close connection with our development centers and the internal business partners.

• Be the thought leader in food oral processing and perception physiology in our company
• Drive innovation in key trends as plan-based meat and dairy alternatives
• Build strong external network by collaborating with best universities, suppliers and start-ups in the field
• Attract, retain and develop key talents in the field
• Communicate with senior management, businesses, markets, factories

What will make you successful

 


• PhD Degree in food oral processing, perception physiology, food science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience and recognised expertise in the field and proven experience in translating academic experience into business context
• Strong people management skills
• Experience in managing and driving complex projects
• Experience in building & managing relationship with key internal & external stakeholders including on senior level
• Experience in food industry organization is an asset
