Tasks
Take initiative and responsibility in supporting our UX Lead hands onin building, continuously improving and driving our Bühler Design System while keeping it consistent, high quality and brand aligned.
Take responsibility for delivering expected project outcomes on time, efficiently and effectively.
Gather and evaluate user requirements with business stakeholders, product managers and software engineers.
Conduct user research applying the appropriate methodology to better understand our internal and external users.
Design concepts and artefacts for our products and services
Execute all UX design stages from analysis, user stories, wireframes to high fidelity designs until hand over to our software engineers.
Work closely with our engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of UX.
Be a user advocate, take a user-centered approach and rapidly ideate designs. Be responsible for creating beautiful and innovative user interaction concepts, interfaces and prototypes
Contribute to the future of food and feed production with stunning user experiences by being actively involved in defining product development, innovation and creation
Required qualifications
Education in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design or any related field
Proven track record of at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating your skills (if not possible to share your previous work, we can give you a small design task, which will help usto understand how you work, think, and design).
Excellent hands-on design and prototyping skills with a solid grasp of user-centered design, user testing, sketching, wireframing and interaction design.
Ability to manage and develop a consistent design language trough many different applications.
Good knowledge of Figma or similar tools and Adobe Illustrator
Excellent German and English, both written and spoken
Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex concepts and problems, across different audiences
Great presentation skills, collaboration and analytical skills with the ability to convince.
Ability to work well in cross-functional teams yet being able to work independently in an agile environment, balancing priority while having a high awareness of quality.
Ability to stay pragmatic and work without having the ideal inputs. Working towards a lean UX environment, rather than demanding all design upfront.
Preferred qualifications
Great visual and icon design skills, which allow you to visually communicate the Bühler brand.
Hands-on knowledge in leading Design Thinking and other workshops
Experience in working with external design agencies and freelancers
Has the ability to gain an overview quickly; adaptive to new situations and projects, understands how to analyze situations and propose workable solutions
