What you will do

• Understand Axpo's overall solution portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions using SaaS. IaaS, PaaS, DevOps & microservices

• Ensure solutions are architected to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies, and Application Development and DevOps technologies as appropriate

• Apply technical knowledge and insights to create a modernisation roadmap

• Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment

What you bring & who you are

• Five or more years of experience in enterprise architecture plus at least three disciplines, such as business analysis, information management, security, solution or technical architecture in a multitier environment


• Excellent understanding of Architecture frameworks such as Cloud Adoption Framework, TOGAF and IT4IT ideally including:


• Enterprise Architecture Certification (TOGAF or Zachmann)


• Cloud Architecture Certified (ideally practitioner in one of the following Azure, AWS or GCP)


• Familiar with agile and lean methodologies, design thinking, infrastructure and operations as well as ITIL frameworks


• Systematic approach and readiness to learn continuously


• Good advising, collaboration and active listening skills as well as high empathy to achieve a broad agreement with stakeholders at all levels


• Relevant Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred


• Very good written and oral communication skills in English (fluent) and German (B2)

About the team

We start to build up a new team of Enterprise Architecture. This team is placed in the Corporate Information Management department.
