As Validation Engineer you will join our global highspeed team exploring opportunities beyond our currently established offerings.
You will be an active part of the team responsible for the development and commercialization of a new small turbocharger product for off-highway applications. In this position you are part of shaping and launching a new offering to a market segment we are not positioned today.

Your responsibilities

• Translating customer requirements into product qualification plans and ensuring they are met in most cost-effective way


• Developing, implementing and improving appropriate validation procedure to meet customer requirements and industry standards


• Driving design for validation, providing feedback to design team and monitoring requirements for minimal validation effort


• Contributing to quote preparation and ensuring validation budget is met


• Contributing to creating risk management strategies for validation

Your background

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the off-highway small turbocharger business (compressor wheel diameter smaller than 130mm)


• Proven customer contact with ability in translating customer requirements into internal technical requirements and solutions


• Sound knowledge of project management High level of organizational development skills (work methodologies, structure, processes)


• Proven track record of effective product validation with regards to time, quality and cost


• Experience in functional interaction with various teams (without disciplinary reports)


• Entrepreneurial thinking, the passion for driving things forward and result-oriented focus


• A solution-focused and open-minded approach and strong communication skills


• A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field


• Fluency in English, German is an asset
