We are looking for a remarkable Global Supply Planning Expert to join DSM.


Location: Kaiseraugst, Switzerland


Purpose of the position



  • First line of SAP APO support, ensuring issues and requests are handled correctly in APO for Supply.

  • Coaching the users with their specific question/issue, answering in a competent way, allowing the user to continue the work in APO.

  • Business support key user for SAP APO for Supply, helping to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives based on users’ request and experience.

  • Act as advisor, analyst, trainer and team member to develop standards, KPI’s, trainings and monitor performance results.

  • Check/Monitor the system frequently, looking for inconsistencies and wrong master data and contact the users to clarify/update the data. Develop analytical  processes to mitigate the errors.

  • Work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain Heads to define best practices, understanding the specifics of each manufacturing plant, industry and business  process. Implement new process and functionalities in the regions, supporting the overall system capabilities.

  • Ensure the documentation (process and training material) are kept updated for the APO supply planning community.

  • Responsible for the communication between global (APO / IT / Supply) and users for topics related to SAP APO.


 


Position content


Key areas of accountability/responsibility



  • User Support, problem solving, training to APO supply planning users.

  • Ensure proper Support documentation and processes.


 


Projects/special assignments



  • Monitor supply planning jobs and Master Data in SAP APO.

  • Implement and support improvement projects/initiatives to the demand community.


 


Knowledge and educational level



  • Graduate in Business Administration or related discipline ( preferably specialized in Supply Chain).

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • A minimum of three years’ experience working in Supply Planning.

  • Good Knowledge of SAP APO.


 


Required level of experiences



  • Extensive experience managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic business environment.

  • Supply Chain processes, systems and analytic knowledge.

  • Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage.

  • Project Management experience and training skills.

  • Understanding of Support and implementation methodologies.
