Founded in 2004 by a group of PhD students as a spin-off from the University of Zurich, Molecular Partners AG is a thriving and steadily growing clinical stage biotech company located in Zurich-Schlieren (Switzerland) with 160 highly qualified employees.

In order to advance modern medicine and significantly improve the management of serious diseases, we have developed and successfully established a powerful new class of potent, specific and versatile small protein therapies, called DARPin® therapeutics.

Laborant - Molekular Biologie M/F

Job description

• Planung und Durchführung von molekularbiologischen Experimenten, unter anderem Klonierungen mit Gibson Assembly Methode, PCR, Elektrophorese

• Durchführung von Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Experimenten

• Betrieb und Wartung von Laborgeräten, sowie Planung und Organisation des Laboralltags einschliesslich Inventar und Verbrauchsmarerial

• Dokumentation und Datenaufarbeitung und -analyse

• Mithilfe bei Methodenentwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Automatisierungsprozessen

• Unterstützung von Projekt-Teams bei verschiedenen Forschungsaufgaben

Requirements

• Abgeschlossene Berufslehre als Laborant/in EFZ (Chemie oder Biologie)

• Berufserfahrung mit molekularbiologischen Standardmethoden mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Klonierung

• Affinität und Begeisterung zum Erlernen von Laborautomatisierungsprozessen und der Arbeit mit Pipettierrobotern

• Gute Deutsch– und Englischkenntnisse

• Praktische Erfahrung mit analytisch-chromatographischen Systemen und Kenntnisse im Service von HPLC-Geräten sind ein Plus

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Gibson Assembly und SPR ist ein Plus

• Offen für die Interaktion mit Mitgliedern der gesamten Forschungsorganisation

• Neugierde und Motivation für die Weiterentwicklung und Ausarbeitung von internen Projekten und Prozessen
