Join us as Head of the Trust Legal team, a challenging and interesting position managing a small team of lawyers in a dynamic and evolving international environment. You will have a senior role as a key contact person for legal matters regarding trusts and other wealth planning structures as well as life insurance and advisory agreements. You will have the opportunity to work on a very wide range of topics such as corporate governance, adherence to internal policies, data protection and information exchange, outsourcing, marketing materials, as well as contentious and litigation matters. Your responsibilities include building up and maintaining close relationship with other functions across divisions, ensuring adequate communication and support with colleagues as well as engaging, managing and coordinating matters with external counsel.
You join the Legal Wealth Planning team within the General Counsel division at Credit Suisse. We pride ourselves on promoting a strong team work ethic and engaging in a collaborative manner with stakeholders and colleagues. We play a crucial role in supporting the in-house trust and life insurance business in execution of their duties and strategic aims, advise the bank on the advisory relationships with its clients and provide legal support regarding other wealth planning matters. The legal and regulatory advice we provide includes analyzing legal requirements, providing guidance regarding upcoming laws and regulations, leading and supporting projects with senior management attention, and drafting internal and external documentation, including templates and client communication. This role is open to discussion regarding flexible / agile working.
